The middle section of town, which Dr. Martin was very familar with having grown up there, was destroyed. Dr. Martin’s family all escaped the storm, but one sister’s home was destroyed. The high school building which Dr Martin graduated from was damaged irreparably and needs rebuilt. Churches that we attended are now gone. The reconstruction is going to be a long slow process, but Joplin will find the way. February 22, 2012 Dr Martin was able to attend Mission Of Mercy clinic in Kansas City, KS. This event provided free dental care to over 2000 patients who showed up to receive extractions, fillings, cleanings, some had teeth replaced. Dr Martin is scheduled to attend this event in Minnesota and Iowa later in 2012. June 20-24, 2012 Dr. Martin attended the AGD annual meeting in Philadelphia, PA. The hands on courses will allow us to incorporate the latest materials for cosmetic procedures. We are also certified for MTM orthodontic aligners. These aligners are invisible but can be adjusted chair-side providing the doctor more control in moving teeth.. August 25, 2012  Dr Martin attended Mission of Mercy Mankato, Minnesota Oct 6, 2012  Dr Martin Attended Mission of Mercy in Davenport IA Oct 17-23,2012 Dr Martin attended the ADA meeting in San Francisco, CA April 2013 Dr Martin and the office staff will attend the Star of the North Dental meeting in St. Paul,Minn. The office will gain new knowledge to enhance current treatments and we will be able to offer some new treatments as well.
